Rock House Concert featuring AirLoom

The Rock House, 41 High Street, Reeds Spring

AIR LOOM (Dana Louise and Jackson Jennings) is a thigh talkin', brain stretchin' duo based out of Northwest Arkansas. The pair met in late 2010 when Dana was hunting for cross sections of wood for a visual art series. Jackson, a biologist and songwriter, was home for a few weeks from Finland where he was earning his PhD. He shared his stockpile of wood from around the country along with a hard drive full of songs. The two traded musical libraries, and a long-distance friendship ensued.

Fast forward three years: Jackson returned to Fayetteville, AR to take a position at the University of Arkansas just as Dana was beginning to play her songs in coffee houses and bars around town. Through a series of synchronistic events, the two found themselves sharing a microphone one night, and discovered that their voices braided together in ways that surprised them and moved audiences. Air Loom was born.

After focusing on their own solo projects over the last few years, Air Loom is excited to find the time play shows together again. Bringing new songs into the mix and re-thinking old, familiar tunes, the two are exploring new sonic pallets and are honored to share it with the people who helped them so much along the way.
