Barbara Jean (Harris) Bair 1938 -2020

Barbara Jean (Harris) Bair died peacefully after a short battle with cancer, July 15th, 2020 in Mount Juliet, TN, at the age of 81. Barbara enjoyed her life to the fullest. She loved gardening, decoupage, cooking, bowling, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was the daughter of the late, Arthur Leslie and Clara Spirz Harris. Barbara was also preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur Harris and Oliver Harris.

Barbara  is survived by her husband of 60 years, Col. Edgar M. Bair, USMC (Ret); children, Jeanette (Bruce Anderson) Bair, Jonathan (Beth) Bair and Bridget (Sam) Kallaos and grandchildren, Callista Gomez, Alexis Carpenter, Steven Bair, Clara Kallaos, and Ruby Kallaos.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery in her beloved hometown of San Diego CA. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made to the non-profit, rockhousecenterforthearts.org , for the creation of a mosaic bench that will be installed as a memorial at The Rock House (a place she loved), P.O. Box 33,  Reeds Spring, MO, 65737.

In lieu of flowers Barbara's family suggest making a donation to the Rock House Center for the Art, a charitable non-profit, for a mosaic bench and wall at The Rock House in Reeds Spring Mo.

Barbara loved the Rock House and while living in the Branson area attended just about every show over the course of 15th years. Along with her husband Ed (Big Daddy) Bair they made our concerts and pot-lucks all the more enjoyable. They supported the Arts and the Musicians that graced our stage. We would love to build a gorgeous piece of functional art, that everyone could enjoy, in her honor.

Your donation can be made on line... just write a note as to what it is for. Or you can write a check and send it to RHCA P.O. Box 33 Reeds Spring, MO. 65737
